Castle fic rec: Hold On
December 12th, 2012 11:20 amI don't write fic, but I love reading it, so I've decided to do a semi-regular fic rec post. My original thought was to have it a fic-a-day thing, but I know myself well enough to know that I don't have the discipline to make that commitment. But I'm hoping to do at least a few a week.
There's no rhyme or reason to the order I post, it's just "the first one I came to in my bookmarks" or "I just read this story and love it!" There are a few authors that I really like, but I'm going to try to feature the same author twice in a row. So, let's get started with:
Hold On by Midnight-Halos
In this fic, Ryan ruminates on the season 4 finale and his "betrayal" of Beckett and Esposito, hurting but knowing he was right. I'm really surprised that there aren't more fics dealing with this issue, given all the ways it could go down.
